I'm looking for a game similar to Sim City or Tropico 3, but with war. Any suggestions?

There is also the settlers franchise, they're pretty good games too.

Ooo, and look up Black and White. That's a very fun city building game which has some cool combat including your god pets, if you wish to make them fighter pets that is. You can choose to play as a good god and be nice.
