Anyone know what the Tropico Playa hotel is like in Palma Nova, Majorca?

We've booked a holiday here and have read lots of information and reviews about it but i was just wondering if anyone could tell us anymore? give us any tips?

this hotel is on a hill, a rather steep one, but short. its clean and a relatively god hotel, with night entertainment. If the flamenco is on one evening, try to see it, as they're really good.

There is a fab crazy golf about 10 mins walk away, with 84 holes. It's fun and makes an entertaining day. The pirates show is a bus ride away, as is Marineland, with a great dolphin and seal show, and also a funny parrot show---take cameras and drinks as the food and drink inside is very dear.

The beaches are fabulous white sand and the water is very clean and shallow if you have kiddies....there's no current.

Lots of shops, as you would expect, and some good night clubs too. Ask any rep outside a club for free shots. Entrance is either free or includes a first drink.

If you want to go further afield, look in reception for a company called NO FRILLS. They are the cheapest for tours...Caves of Drach, Son Amar, Pirates, Lluc (a monastery with a museum too).

There's loads more things to see and do, and there's a market too. I'm not sure of the day it's on, but reception will tell you.Try to take in a trip to Palma to see the cathedral, the royal palace and museum, and the shops. Both Zara and Mango have outled shops here, as well as Etam and El Corte Ingles(big department store).
